Take a look at this video put together by Popular Mechanics. Surface Computing Video It provides a demonstration of the table top workspace device recently introduced by Microsoft.
For now, it falls into the category of ultra geek cool and with a cost in the range of five to ten thousand dollars, will not make it into your arrangement conference room this year. (Though it will see true commercial release soon.)
Don't ignore this though. It will not take long for these technologies to become less expensive and more complete and if you think about the future of funeral arranging, it would be helpful to have a collaborative workspace like this as opposed to working off of a big screen TV with a mouse as we do now.
