Cremation Solutions Update

I talked about Cremation Solutions during my post convention writing. They have some cool and reasonably priced scattering urns that convert into high quality bird houses (it may sound a little "hokey" but give them a look, get some samples the finished product is amazing) along with a line of better quality temporary urns and other cremation alternatives.

Back in October they did not have a complete website. As of a few days ago they have gone live with a complete site which includes a complete catalog of items along with the ability to accomplish online ordering. It appears that to use the online ordering system, you must previously register by providing an email address.

The rest looks fairly typical with some consumer oriented information, though the dense text is hard to read. You might find the catalog a little confusing at first. The link takes you to a text based page where you must then choose from a list of categories below the edge of the screen. Only then do you start to see actual images of the products. Seems to me the site should have a visual list right off the bat with photographs to represent the products.

Nevertheless, a good first effort and one that will certainly improve over time. You can find it at the following link:

I see a fair number of hits on this blog coming from the U.K. version of Google. Out of curiosity, would any of you take the time to tell me what you wanted to find in starting your search? Perhaps I can begin to organize an adjuct area or site which will better meet your needs.

Peace of Mind at Christmas

I talk a great deal about new technology and how it will impact the future of our businesses and our relationships with our families. No doubt that things like audio and video podcasts, video conferencing, cavernous email storage, multi-gigabyte music players, voice over IP, MP3 and internet based music systems, on and on will impact the choices we make and the way we conduct business with our families.

Today though, let me remind you of a little OLD technology which also needs your attention. So when’s the last time you did a VERIFIED backup of your company computer data and when’s the last time you stored a backup set OFF SITE????
